Position: Outside Sales Account Manager (Multi-Family) - Pasadena
Location: California

Job Summary

Outside Sales Account Manager for Multi‑Family Housing Accounts. Must reside within the state(s) specified above and within the territory in Pasadena. Responsible for selling MRO supplies and related products to a portfolio of multi‑family housing customers, achieving sales goals and maintaining relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect new accounts, retain existing accounts, and increase opportunities with existing customers.
  • Develop and sustain sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers at all levels.
  • Manage sales volume within the existing customer group, expanding the customer base.
  • Implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
  • Share market and competitor information with applicable channels; establish partnerships.
  • Participate in monthly business meetings, local trade shows, and regional/national events as required.
  • Analyze data, resolve missing information, and provide guidance to junior support personnel.
  • Operate a Company Vehicle or Personal Vehicle for more than 20% of the work week, subject to an MVR report.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of B2B field sales experience, preferably with multi‑family communities and facilities maintenance customers.
  • Experience selling to HD Supply facility customers and industry products.
  • Large‑volume product line experience.
  • Organizational skills and knowledge of handheld technology.
  • Knowledge of facilities products: hardware, electrical, lighting, etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Consultative/solution‑selling experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote position.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (BS/BA); 2‑5 years of relevant experience or MS/MA with 2‑4 years experience.
  • Certification may be required in some areas.
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report; vehicle operation required.
Payment & Benefits

Annual salary range: $58,900.00 – $85,500.00. Competitive base salary plus sales incentive bonus, laptop/tablet, cell phone, and monthly expenses included.
