Position Overview
Senior Key Account Manager (KAM) – leads strategic customer relationships across a defined portfolio at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. Reports to the Regional Sales Manager and works remotely in Boston and surrounding markets.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with C‑suite executives and key stakeholders within assigned accounts, including IDNs and Health Systems.
- Analyze key financial performance indicators and align Beckman Coulter Diagnostics solutions with customer financial objectives.
- Lead the internal selling team to develop and execute a multi‑year strategic account plan, driving growth through influence and persuasion.
- Collaborate with the service organization to ensure successful installation, go‑live, and post‑installation maintenance, monitor account activities, and resolve issues.
- Utilize DBS tools to coordinate resources, maintain an accurate sales funnel, and deliver regular business reviews to customer leaders.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
- 5+ years of Diagnostics Sales Experience (preferred).
- Proven ability to understand customer business and financial goals and position solutions accordingly.
- Experience working collaboratively with local sales teams on long‑term capital equipment sales cycles.
- Background in account planning sessions and executive‑level business reviews.
- Travel 50–75% of the time; in‑person customer facing meetings 75% of the time.
Base salary range: $110,000 – $140,000. Eligible for Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC); total target compensation: $180,000 – $210,000 annually.
