Project Sales Specialist
Houston, TX
KOO Recruit is partnering with a growing industrial supply company in Houston to hire a Project Sales Specialist
. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional who enjoys building customer relationships, developing winning sales strategies, and managing projects from quotation through execution.
- Review customer RFQs and develop strategies to secure project awards.
- Collaborate with suppliers to create competitive and compelling proposals.
- Support customers throughout the bidding process and build long-term relationships.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers while maintaining profitability.
- Partner with the Business Development team to identify and win new business opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to continuously improve bid strategies and sales performance.
- Review and negotiate customer contracts.
- Process orders within SAP/ERP systems.
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers and sales acknowledgments to customers.
- Manage contract execution from award through completion.
- Serve as the primary commercial and technical point of contact for customers and suppliers.
- Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Attend customer meetings, industry events, and sales activities.
- Identify upcoming projects and procurement opportunities within customer accounts.
- Support long-term account growth and customer retention initiatives.
- Minimum 2 years of project sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of PVF products.
- Understanding of technical specifications and industry standards.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and SAP.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Relationship-focused with strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and results-driven.
