Job Description

VWR is looking for a dedicated, high‑energy Sales Representative to maintain and grow our Pharma, Biotech and Industrial sales efforts within the PA/MD region
. This is a full‑time, field‑based position where you will consultatively sell VWR's extensive portfolio of products and services to researchers, scientists, and operational staff.

Qualifications
  • Education: College degree or equivalent/applicable experience.
  • Experience: 3—5 years in a complex sales environment with multiple decision makers and a solution‑based selling approach; proven track record of verifiable sales success; B2B sales experience, preferably with distribution and a scientific or laboratory background; demonstrated capability in SPIN, Challenger or Miller Heiman selling processes; familiarity with  and Qlikview; willingness to travel 4+ days a week.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Science or Medical Technology background.
Responsibilities
  • Provide VWR solutions to customers across Pharma, Biotech and Industrial markets.
  • Prospect and establish new customers, manage a sales pipeline and develop proposals to illustrate VWR's value proposition.
  • Sell consultatively, detailing products, determining customer needs, and making recommendations.
  • Work with sales management to develop strategic territory plans for sales growth and quota attainment.
  • Build and sustain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage VWR's product portfolio and implement company‑defined sales and marketing strategies.
  • Develop retention strategies to expand VWR's role with existing customers.
  • Leverage resources to implement company marketing plans, strategies and sales processes.
  • Represent and develop strong relationships with manufacturers, improving pricing and account profitability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

Typically works in a home office with extensive regional travel to customer locations. The role involves a frequent volume of work and deadlines, with minimal physical effort; mainly sedentary but requires walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting items less than 10 lbs.

Pay Details

Base salary: $59,150.00 – $ (pre‑tax).

Target cash opportunity (TCO): $98,600.00 – $, based on achieved sales.
