This is a full-time hybrid Account Manager role based in the omaha, Nebraska area, with flexibility for some work from home. The Account Manager will manage and grow relationships with existing commercial and residential customers, serving as a primary point of contact for insulation projects. Daily responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, preparing estimates and proposals, coordinating site visits, and ensuring that project requirements, timelines, and budgets are clearly defined and communicated.
The role will collaborate closely with operations, installers, and suppliers to schedule work, monitor project progress, and resolve issues that may arise. The Account Manager will also identify new business opportunities, follow up on leads, maintain accurate records in CRM or related systems, and provide regular updates and reports to leadership.
- Proven account management or customer relationship management experience, preferably in construction, building materials, or related trades.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical or product information in clear, accessible terms.
- Experience with estimating, quoting, or project coordination, including comfort working with budgets, timelines, and basic contract terms.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM tools) and willingness to learn company-specific systems.
- Knowledge of or interest in insulation products, building codes, energy efficiency, or construction practices is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating in person in the Rochester–Austin area and independently while working from home.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to customer sites as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, construction management, or a related field is a plus.
