Position Purpose
The Territory Manager
- Specialty Products at SRS Building Products is tasked with driving strategic sales growth and establishing robust stakeholder relationships across their assigned territory. - Strategic Sales Execution:
Formulate and execute detailed sales strategies to meet or surpass corporate objectives, identifying and capitalizing on emerging markets while staying informed of new products and competitive landscapes. - Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with key industry stakeholders, including architects, builders, contractors, and distributors, to enhance the market presence of SRS Building Products' Specialty Products. - Market Analysis and Insights:
Conduct in‑depth market research to pinpoint trends, opportunities, and potential threats, converting these insights into proactive sales strategies that drive growth. - Performance Monitoring:
Continuously evaluate territory performance against predetermined sales targets and KPIs, initiating necessary adjustments to ensure the attainment of sales goals. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Engage with internal departments such as marketing, supply chain, and customer service to facilitate seamless operations and enhance customer satisfaction. - Product Expertise:

The Territory Manager
- Specialty Products at SRS Building Products reports directly to the Regional Sales Director. This position does not have any direct reports. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve strategic sales goals and enhance product market penetration.
This role necessitates frequent travel within the designated territory to engage with clients, stakeholders, and to conduct market research, ensuring consistent alignment with strategic sales and relationship management objectives.
Physical RequirementsThe role involves both office‑based and field activities. Standard physical requirements include the ability to operate a computer and other office equipment, engage in extensive telephone communication, and sit or stand for extended periods. The role may also require lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 20 pounds during travel or trade events, and the ability to travel to meet with clients and stakeholders across the designated territory.
