About the Role

Canon USA is looking for a Senior Account Executive, Workplace Technologies & Services (WTS) to sell world‑class hardware and software solutions to a dedicated marketplace. The role calls for immediate impact on sales of Canon’s technology‑based solutions and solutions from third‑party providers. This position is located in Baltimore, MD and requires a reasonable commuting distance. Applicants should have strong communication skills, the appetite to learn new technology, and an ability to build solid relationships with customers.

Impact
  • Master the core capabilities of innovative products, solutions, and technologies from Canon USA and third‑party providers, and promote those benefits to current and prospective customers to drive sales results and achieve revenue goals.
  • Learn and use the Salesforce CRM platform to manage client and prospect accounts.
  • Contact an assigned account base via direct calls, customized email campaigns, and social media platforms to develop sales opportunities.
  • Conduct in‑person discovery meetings, presentations and demonstrations, and lead strategic conversations with business owners, executives and other stakeholders to identify customer requirements and competitive trends.
  • Focus on an optimal customer experience by developing strategic plans to address both short‑term and long‑term customer needs.
  • Leverage a team of technology subject matter experts to enrich knowledge, facilitate sales wins, and achieve customer goals through collaboration.
  • Develop and nurture high‑level relationships within the customer base to enhance long‑term viability and account penetration.
About You:

The Skills & Expertise You Bring
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have at least three years of business‑to‑business sales or customer‑facing experience.
  • Show unwavering passion, aptitude and interest for learning new technology and services in a rapidly evolving industry.
  • Have a successful track record of persuading others to pursue innovative ideas.
  • Display strong communication skills focused on building solid working relationships.
  • Work independently and manage time precisely.
  • Be capable and willing to travel occasionally within the local market (valid driver’s licence and acceptable driving record required).

Base salary range: $50,000–$63,160 annually. The role is also eligible for incentive compensation under the terms of an applicable plan; at 100% of quota the anticipated incentive is $62,869 annually. A transportation allowance is also available.

Workstyle Description

This is a full‑time hybrid role requiring you to report to the local office as directed by management. You will be available to customers in person or remotely as dictated by customer needs, and you may work from home on other business days, except where business needs dictate otherwise.
