About the Role
Canon USA, a leader in print technology, is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Workplace Technologies & Services (WTS) to drive sales of our hardware and software solutions. The role focuses on promoting technology‑based solutions to a dedicated marketplace and solving key business challenges to advance the Future of Work.
Your Impact- Master the core capabilities of innovative products and solutions from Canon USA and third‑party providers, and promote those benefits to current and prospective customers to drive sales results and achieve revenue goals.
- Proficiently learn and utilize the Salesforce CRM platform to manage client and prospect accounts.
- Actively contact an assigned account base via direct calls, customized email campaigns, and social media platforms to develop sales opportunities and establish engagement.
- Conduct in‑person discovery meetings, presentations, and demonstrations, leading strategic conversations with business owners, executives, and stakeholders to identify customer requirements, competitive trends, and business challenges.
- Focus on an optimal customer experience, developing strategic plans to address both short‑term and long‑term requirements.
- Leverage a team of technology subject matter experts to facilitate sales wins and achieve customer goals.
- Develop and nurture high‑level relationships within the customer base to enhance long‑term viability and account penetration.
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
- Hold a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of business‑to‑business sales or customer‑facing experience.
- Possess a passion for learning new technology and services in a rapidly evolving industry.
- Have a successful track record of persuading others to pursue innovative ideas.
- Command strong communication skills and build solid working relationships.
- Show the ability to work independently and manage time precisely.
- Be capable and willing to travel occasionally within the local market (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required).
Base salary: $50,000 – $63,160 annually. Eligible for incentive compensation under applicable plans; anticipated incentive compensation at 100 % of plan: $62,869 annually. Also eligible for a transportation allowance.
Workstyle DescriptionThis is a full‑time hybrid role; you will be required to report to your local office as directed, make customer visits in person or remotely, and work from home on other business days.
