Business Development Manager

Unique Vacations, Inc. – an affiliate of the worldwide representative of Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts – is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its team in Upstate NY.

Job Description

We are looking for individuals with forward thinking mindsets that will bring us to the next level. The role involves business development, marketing, and administrative responsibilities.

• Impact the number of clients booking Sandals and Beaches by servicing, educating, and building relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and tourist boards within your assigned territory.
• Grow new business by helping travel agencies develop marketing plans and reach booking goals via the Certified & Preferred Sandals Agency Programs.
• Maintain an outgoing, positive, professional attitude, strong communication, time management skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and extensive travel.
• Demonstrate computer proficiency to navigate the internet, manage email, use a laptop, present with PowerPoint, manipulate Excel spreadsheets, and prepare documents with a word processor.
• Show excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for communicating with internal and external customers.
• Thrive in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize workload to meet deadlines, and work under stressful situations while maintaining professionalism.
• Work independently with little to no supervision and within a team setting, multi‑tasking and shifting direction quickly.
• Travel internationally and domestically and maintain proper and up‑to‑date documentation.
• Effectively communicate with management, senior management, product management, support, and development teams.
• Be willing to have image captured for sales & marketing purposes.

Car allowance:
Monthly allowance for use of personal vehicle. A company vehicle may take up to 6 months to receive.

Personal credit card required for business expenses; expenses will be reimbursed within 2 weeks.

• Ability to grow business and work under pressure.
• Willingness to drive and/or travel away from home every week and extensively as needed.
• Availability to work weekend events and host trips to the Caribbean, including nights & weekends.
• Self‑motivation and ability to work independently from a home office without direct supervision.
• Prioritization, organization, and execution of many activities simultaneously with flexibility to accommodate changes.
• Professionalism in social situations.
• Clear articulation of information via written and oral communication, public speaking, slide presentations, webinars to large groups.
• High proficiency with email, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, and social media platforms.
• Ability to manage administrative tasks while traveling overnight.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with accounts, peers, and clients.
• Capacity to lift boxes of collateral (up to 50 lbs) and set up booth displays.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record and a valid passport.

Base salary of $70,000.00 with opportunity for incentives.
