Job Overview

Field Sales Professional will serve as a consultative partner to schools, clubs, and community athletic programs within the assigned territory. The role focuses on full‑cycle sales execution, from prospecting and lead generation through account management and post‑sale support.

Work Type & Location
  • Full‑time hybrid; must live in territory and travel 2‑5 days per week.
  • Location:

    Charleston, WV.
  • Hours may vary; evenings and weekends may be required.
  • Travel primarily local to schools; occasional out‑of‑area or overnight travel.
Responsibilities
  • Provide best‑in‑class consultative customer service to coaches across the territory.
  • Generate revenue and achieve sales/growth targets.
  • Develop and qualify leads through cold‑calling and lead generation campaigns.
  • Persistently overcome rejection and turn challenges into opportunities.
  • Navigate CRM for prospecting, account management, and activity tracking.
  • Increase sales in existing accounts by offering all sports at all levels.
  • Utilize data‑driven insights to identify new trends and opportunities.
  • Manage account list and travel to client sites within the territory.
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • High level of self‑direction and autonomy in task management.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Advanced time‑management to meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM.
  • Ability to maintain a distraction‑free home office environment.
Education & Experience
  • 3 years of business‑to‑business outside sales experience (preferably sporting goods) or coaching/sports‑related background.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands include prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and driving as part of a hybrid work environment.
