Account Executive - Security Enterprise Solutions

Multiple Locations in Greater Windsor, ON. Some locations are not remote; primarily on‑site when not traveling. Occasional remote work may be approved for personal circumstances.

Job Overview

Our Client seeks motivated Account Executives for Security Enterprise Solutions, responsible for business development and performance of sales activities in Greater Vancouver, focusing on new business development in vertical markets (Utilities, SLED, Data Centers, Healthcare).

Responsibilities
  • Develop business plan and sales strategy to achieve company sales goals and profitability. Provide input beyond own territory and act as market expert.
  • Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans to maintain a substantive sales pipeline; find new ways to engage customers.
  • Research and analyze market and project opportunities aligned with strategy.
  • Prepare action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects; develop strategies and tactics for successful outcomes; inform customers of new product/service introductions and pricing.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management on market conditions, pricing issues, competitive trends, and industry relevance.
  • Develop business opportunities, conduct needs assessment (customer site walks), and write proposals for installations and service opportunities.
  • Diagnose and respond to client needs, with written and verbal follow‑up on all aspects of requests.
  • Attend trade shows and industry conferences for educational and customer‑oriented purposes.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, business ethics, and communicate and implement them within the team.
  • Perform other duties as requested or required.
Qualifications
  • Highly energetic, results‑oriented, dedicated team player and communicator; ability to work under pressure.
  • Conversant with products, systems and solutions relevant to vertical markets and their value propositions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Responds effectively to changes; ability to influence others and build consensus.
  • Can work independently and manage a sales territory.
  • Strong analytical skills to resolve problems and seek solutions.
  • Facilitates collaborative environment for customers and team members.
  • Driven, self‑motivated and results‑oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Bluebeam Revu, PowerPoint).

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, engineering or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of proven sales experience, including two years successfully managing business development in vertical markets (Utilities, SLED, Data Centers, Healthcare).
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales activity and close rate.
Work Model & Eligibility
  • Primarily in‑office when not traveling; occasional remote work permitted for personal needs.
  • Candidates must be willing to relocate to required areas if outside of the specified map.
  • Eligible to work in Canada without restrictions; citizens and valid PR holders will be prioritized.
  • Able to travel for client meetings and site visits.
