Account Executive - Medium Enterprise

About The Role

You will be a key player in Workday's Field Sales organization, focusing on new revenue growth. Your role involves guiding new customers through the transition from legacy platforms and ensuring long‑lasting value from Workday solutions.

• Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in the assigned territory.
• Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre‑sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
• Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise prospects and articulate Workday value propositions.
• Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data.

• 4+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud‑based ERP, HCM, financial, planning, or analytics solutions to C‑level decision makers from a field sales position.
• 4+ years of experience negotiating deals with a variety of C‑suite executives to close opportunities.
• 4+ years of experience executing a programmatic approach to generate and develop leads within your territory.

• Proven track record in a high‑velocity sales cycle, including opportunity prospecting.
• Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape and ability to position Workday solutions effectively.
• Experience partnering with internal team members on account strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Base Pay Range: $137,400 USD – $167,600 USD
Additional US Locations: $137,400 USD – $167,600 USD
Compensation may include bonus, commission, and stock grants.

We combine in‑person and remote work. Employees spend at least 50% of time each quarter in the office or in the field. Remote roles can join office events as needed.
