Sales Representative DescriptionAre you looking for a challenging and yet rewarding career? Working with Bedloft you will assist with growing the company across the country with uncapped rewards. - Travel to sales calls and trade shows; including overnight
The primary duties of the Sales Representative position is to identify opportunities and successfully make initial contact for new sales at higher education institutions across the Midwest, followed by structured follow up and introduction of Bedloft team members to assess campus requirements and assist with closing new sales.
Successful performance in this role will involve:
- Identifying opportunities for growth colleges and universities in the Midwest
- Building genuine relationships with potential clients
- Introducing the company and our services to prospects
- Appropriately following up to secure initial calls with decision makers and subsequent needs assessment meetings including their team and ours
- Participation in negotiations proposals and bid process to secure contracts
- Face to face introduction and sales calls on campuses in assigned territory
- Engaging new clients in a lasting partnership
- Assist with sales and marketing planning and strategies
- Actively participate in trade shows assigned by management
- Supporting the operations efforts at select schools during essential operations seasons
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Travel and overnights will be required with the position
ReportingThis position reports to the company Director of Sales
CompensationThis position is a full time position that will include a salary based on experience plus incentives for achievement of specific foals in our sales process and commission.
