Territory Manager – UCC Home Care Products

OverviewThe Territory Manager supports BD’s UCC Home Care products with physicians, clinicians, rehabilitation & specialty accounts, and other key decision makers. The role involves collaborating with nursing leaders, physicians, case managers, and patients as they transition from the hospital to the home. The primary responsibility is to convert urological accounts to Bard products/LINK Rx form and route through our internal 3rd‑party biller (LMS) within an assigned geographic territory.
Responsibilities- Meet established quotas and expectations.
- Maintain regular contact with key customers, providing product training and support of company policies.
- Manage territory resources to increase sales, including time management, administrative duties, and maintaining good customer relations.
- Conduct customer education programs (in‑services) as indicated.
- Participate in district and national training meetings; develop and maintain detailed product knowledge and selling skills.
- Communicate with home office staff, providing market feedback and reporting product problems following policies outlined in the Territory Operations Manual.
- Control expenses within the approved budget (stationary, office, telephone, samples, dealer and hospital relations, travel, meals, entertainment, and miscellaneous services).
- Complete requested administrative duties, including weekly call reports, monthly results reports, and other assignments.
- Develop and maintain accurate customer (account) files and communications changes to home office.
- Convert and service urological accounts.
- Sell the clinical benefits of Bard’s premium intermittent catheter system and DME service offerings from Bard Care.
- Collect all necessary documentation information for complete shipment and billing for intermittent catheter prescriptions.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 1 – 2years of B2B sales experience, preferably in medical device sales.
- Valid State‑issued driver’s license and meeting BD’s auto safety standards.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Strong communication, customer‑service, and sales skills.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19, or provide a valid exemption.
- Workplace arrangement may vary; remote or field‑based positions will have specific arrangements defined in the posting.
