Regional Sales Manager – Flexible Packaging Films

Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Bonus Opportunities
A prominent OEM and industry leader in packaging equipment and materials is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across a multi-state territory.
This role is focused on selling flexible packaging films and consumable products—not capital equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with the equipment sales organization to identify opportunities, develop new customer relationships, and grow consumable sales throughout the territory.

This is a highly visible territory management position responsible for growing sales of flexible packaging films and related consumable products throughout the food and packaging industries.
The territory has historically generated approximately $3.5 million in annual revenue but has experienced declines due to a prolonged vacancy and loss of customer engagement. Leadership is looking for an energetic sales professional who can rebuild relationships, win back business, and develop new accounts.
This position requires a strong field presence.
- Customer visits Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Work-from-home office days Monday and Friday
- Expected to conduct approximately 5-8 onsite customer visits per week
- Regular overnight travel throughout the territory
- Packaging consumables and materials
- Value-added packaging solutions
Important: This is not an equipment sales role. While you will partner closely with the equipment sales team to uncover opportunities and leverage existing customer relationships, your primary responsibility is driving recurring revenue through consumable product sales.
Preferred Background- Experience selling flexible films strongly preferred
- Packaging materials, flexible packaging, or related consumable sales experience highly desired
- Will also consider successful sales professionals from the food industry selling consumable products
- Proven track record of business development and territory growth
- Strong customer-facing skills and willingness to spend significant time in the field
- Coachable, competitive, and motivated to win
Ohio-based candidates are strongly preferred, although qualified candidates located elsewhere within the territory may be considered.
