Position: Higher Education Sales Consultant - Texas

Ready to make your mark in higher education? Kendall Hunt Publishing is seeking a driven Higher Education Sales Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at building relationships, exceeding goals, and communicating effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Travel to college campuses (approximately 7 weeks per semester) and reside at home offices alternately.
  • Interview professors and prospective author candidates to assess publication potential.
  • Persuade educators to publish with Kendall Hunt and develop engaging, interactive materials for lower‑level, high‑enrollment courses.
  • Build lasting partnerships with faculty and manage ongoing author relationships.
  • Identify business opportunities and develop practical solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Has a strong desire to learn, coupled with a deep inclination to ask questions and seek answers, while actively engaging in diverse subject matter.

  • Holds a bachelor's degree and enjoys spending time on college campuses.
  • Has a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record, in accordance with the company's corporate driving policy.
