iTacit is seeking an ambitious, curious, and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys identifying new business opportunities, engaging prospective customers and creating pipeline through strategic prospecting, relationship building, and account development. As a BDR, you will play a critical role in expanding iTacit's market presence by generating qualified opportunities for Account Executives and Sales Leadership.

You will be responsible for proactively identifying and engaging organizations that align with iTacit's ideal customer profile through outbound prospecting initiatives, account-based selling strategies, industry events, networking opportunities, and targeted outreach campaigns. The successful candidate will be highly organized, commercially minded, and comfortable leveraging modern sales technologies, including CRM systems, Linked In, AI-assisted research tools, and sales engagement platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and research prospective customers that align with iTacit’s ideal target industries.
  • Develop and execute strategic outbound prospecting campaigns through phone, email, Linked In, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain target account lists and account engagement strategies to support revenue generation initiatives.
  • Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand prospect challenges, business objectives, organizational fit, and potential business impact.
  • Engage with Operations, Safety, HR, Learning & Development, and frontline workforce leaders across a variety of industries.
  • Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for Account Executives and Sales Leadership.
  • Establish relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers within target organizations.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Revenue Leadership on account‑based marketing initiatives, event follow‑up, and strategic outreach programs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, activity tracking, account engagement records, qualification outcomes, and pipeline information to support forecasting and revenue operations.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, customer challenges, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity, opportunity creation, meeting generation, and pipeline contribution targets.
  • Represent iTacit professionally and create a positive first impression throughout the buyer journey.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in sales development, business development, lead generation, inside sales, prospecting, or similar revenue focused role.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed prospecting, meeting generation, or pipeline creation targets.
  • Excellent communication, listening, questioning, and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to engage professionally with decision‑makers.
  • Naturally curious with a desire to understand business challenges and identify opportunities.
  • Self‑motivated, resilient, and comfortable working toward measurable goals.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, opportunities, and prospecting initiatives simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a SaaS or technology, or B2B software environment.
  • Experience selling into enterprise organizations, regulated industries, or operational work forces.
  • Familiarity with Hub Spot or similar CRM platforms.
  • Experience using Linked In Sales Navigator, prospecting tools, sales engagement platforms, and AI‑assisted research tools.
