The Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate features 36 holes of championship golf, 15 acres of recreation, the Mokara spa, five restaurants, and 15 acres of pools, including an 850‑foot lazy river.
Job PurposeThe National Sales Manager, handling groups of 126‑300 peak guestroom nights, creates group revenue for the resort by generating, developing, and expanding new, referred, and repeat group business.
LocationOnsite at Omni Orlando Resort s role is eligible for Omni’s Work From Home Program after 90 days of employment, with up to 2 WFH days per week and a possible third day if you exceed 100% of your YTD goal (subject to GM/DOSM approval and additional guidelines).
Essential Functions- Adhere to all written standards of operations, policies, and procedures.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, targets, and initiatives.
- Respond to inquiries from potential customers regarding sleeping rooms, meeting space, and food and beverage accommodation.
- Develop and actively solicit group business accounts in defined markets.
- Maintain a complete database of accounts in the defined market.
- Identify and qualify potential prospects through telemarketing, trade shows, sales blitzes, and other sales initiatives.
- Maximize the outcome of all sales initiatives by following up on leads and clients in-house to identify additional business opportunities.
- Properly convey rate and package information within approved limits to maximize and protect resort revenue yields.
- Represent Omni Hotels’ values and the Power of One philosophy with integrity and professionalism in all client‑facing opportunities.
- Maintain customer relations, GSO relations, trade relations, industry relations, and staff relations.
- Promote all Omni Properties and provide information to clients to cross‑sell the brand.
- Two years or more of sales experience at a conference hotel.
- Experience in cold‑call solicitation, contract closing, site inspections, fam trips, and contract negotiations.
- Current knowledge of all pertinent computer software programs and equipment.
- Working knowledge of all resort departments and amenities.
- Participation in all sales meetings and line‑ups.
- Skilled in organizing impactful client events, prioritizing, and efficiently delegating tasks.
