This is a full-time, hybrid Account Executive role based in Waukesha, WI, with flexibility for some work from home. The Account Executive will manage and grow a portfolio of enterprise clients by understanding their security needs, proposing tailored solutions, and guiding them through the full sales cycle. Daily responsibilities include prospecting new customers, conducting discovery calls and site visits, preparing proposals and quotes, and presenting security integration solutions to key decision-makers.
The role will collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure accurate scoping, smooth implementation, and ongoing client satisfaction. The Account Executive will also maintain detailed records in CRM systems, track pipeline and forecasts, and represent Toepfer Security at industry events and client meetings.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in security integration, technology, or related solutions-based industries.
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and closing complex sales.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts related to security systems, IT networking, and integrated solutions (training provided as needed).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and comfort using CRM and productivity tools.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with technical and operations teams to deliver successful projects.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a growing, evolving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to travel locally/regionally to client sites and within the Waukesha, WI area as needed.
- Prior experience in security, access control, video surveillance, or building technologies is a plus.
