Role Description
The Territory Sales Representative is a full-time, hybrid position based in the Denver Metropolitan Area, with a mix of in-field customer visits and some work from home. The Territory Sales Representative will track sales activities in a CRM, follow up on leads, and respond to urgent customer requests with a strong sense of ownership. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues, monitoring market trends and competitors, and representing the company at industry events or job sites to build brand awareness.
- Proven territory or outside sales experience in equipment rental, construction, or a related industrial field, with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Strong customer relationship skills, including account management, consultative selling, and the ability to understand and respond to customer needs with urgency.
- Solid communication and negotiation abilities, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and professional presentation skills.
- Comfort with technology, including CRM or sales tracking tools, basic office software, and mobile applications used for scheduling, quoting, and communication.
- Ability to work independently in the field and from home while collaborating effectively with operations, dispatch, and leadership teams.
- Knowledge of construction equipment types, applications, and job site requirements, or the willingness and aptitude to learn quickly.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and readiness to travel daily within the assigned territory in the Denver Metropolitan Area.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in business, sales, or construction-related fields is preferred.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, solution-oriented environment where plans can change quickly based on customer needs.
