What is Cool About This JobAs a key member of our Enterprise Sales Account Management team, you will cross‑sell and up‑sell WP Engine’s Word Press hosting services to our largest and most strategic Enterprise accounts using a consultative, solution sales approach. This role focuses on growing an existing territory.
It is a hybrid role. Our sales organization visits the Austin, TX office weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Day to Day- Build a pipeline through up‑selling and cross‑selling into existing accounts, referrals, marketing & business development leads, and cold‑calling.
- Work independently to deliver the value of WP Engine’s product to prospective customers and know when to pull in others as a force multiplier.
- Close deals and forecast accurately, keeping updated.
- Schedule and run customer meetings, create quotes and proposals, and determine when to involve Leadership or Sales Engineers.
- Negotiate and articulate the building blocks of a closed deal.
- Collaborate with internal and external Security, Legal, Procurement, and Finance teams to move a deal from Discovery to Closed Won.
- Provide sales reports to management and executives on a regular basis.
- Prior Enterprise sales experience strongly preferred; exposure to Solution Selling, Consultative Selling, Customer‑Centric Selling, or Challenger.
- Experience working with or other CRM applications.
- Performance‑driven mentality, curious nature, and aptitude for critical thinking/problem solving.
- Consistent energy and work ethic.
- Ability to learn quickly and be a self‑starter.
- Effectively identify prospect/client needs and expectations.
- Ability to quickly qualify potential new business.
- Effective communication over phone, text, Zoom, social media, and email.
- Run an opportunity from Discovery to Closed Won.
- Experience with internal/external Security, Legal, Procurement, and Finance teams strongly preferred.

We are hiring a P4 or P5 level seller.
P4
$90,000 base / $90,000 variable / OTE $180,000.
P5
$110,000 base / $110,000 variable / OTE $220,000. Uncapped commissions and accelerators to reward over‑attainment.
