Our client is a mid‑sized specialized transportation company providing flatbed, heavy haul, and complex freight solutions nationwide. With a strong dispatch and operations team based in Syracuse, NY, they are looking to add a proven freight sales professional who can bring and grow shipper relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow an existing book of shipper business
- Prospect and develop new shipper accounts
- Sell specialized transportation solutions
- Negotiate pricing and service agreements
- Work closely with operations/dispatch to ensure smooth load execution
- Track pipeline, activity, and revenue growth
- 35+ years of freight brokerage or logistics sales experience
- Must bring an active, transferable book of business
- Strong negotiation, relationship‑building, and closing skills
- Self‑starter comfortable working fully remote
- Experience with CRM and standard sales tools
The ideal candidate will have 35 years of experience specifically in specialized freight, including:
- Open Deck
- Step Deck
- Double Drop
- Over Dimensional (OD)
- Must bring an established, portable book of business (active shipper accounts you can transfer and service).

Base salary $80,000 – $100,000 per year, plus performance‑based bonuses and commissions.
