The Technical Distribution Sales Manager – East Coast acts as a vital intermediary between Littelfuse and its franchised distributors within the region, offering specialized technical support and sales assistance to grow the company’s distribution sales channel.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors at all levels and across multiple functional areas.
  • Create, track, and follow up with Littelfuse and distributor personnel on demand‑creation focus account distributor programs.
  • Support and grow the Litelfuse distribution sales channel within the region.
  • Act as the primary interface for Branch Managers, Product Managers, and sales personnel/reps for key distributors to maximize mind share.
  • Establish and execute mutual growth objectives with distributors through effective training programs such as new product introductions (NPI), design reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Link sales and branch Field Application Engineers to maximize multi‑technology demand creation and sales.
  • Support and maintain Littelfuse’s Distributor Registration program.
  • Understand distributor requirements and recommend suitable electronic components (circuit protection, switches, power semiconductors, sensors, relays, and circuit breakers).
  • Collaborate with distribution Field Application Engineering teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings; communicate product features, benefits, and technical specifications effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions.
  • Prepare reports for management on sales performance and market conditions, and provide quotation support and follow‑up.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in electronic components.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel 50% to distribution branches within the region.
  • Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Problem‑solving mindset and customer‑oriented approach.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with Sales teams, local Sales Reps, Channel Partners, Product Managers, Technical Marketing, Marcom, and Corporate functions.

Salary Range

$88,500 – $137,100 (varies by location, skills, and experience).
