Position: Southeast Territory Sales Manager a (Remote – Travel required)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement territory sales and marketing plans to achieve aggressive business plan objectives.
  • Generate new business by establishing relationships with retail shops and vendors in the defined area and making physical visits to customer sites.
  • Present product to prospective retailers and open accounts while on-site. The ability to quickly learn our extensive product portfolio and enthusiastically present them to prospective customers is critical to success.
  • Follow up on leads for potential customers, both in person and on the phone.
  • Maintain a professional image of the company; always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.
  • Maintain accurate customer account records.
  • Timely communication of market observations and trends.
  • Accurate tracking of call logs and subsequent weekly/monthly reporting.
  • Understand the power and influence of a brand in the marketplace.
  • Represent at trade shows and conventions as needed.
  • Ability to maintain ongoing account relationships, keeping customers informed of new products and trends in the industry and driving continued sales growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Innate motivation to drive sales.
  • Very strong communication and organization skills.
  • Must be able to document results relative to managing a growing territory.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • Must have a clean driving record; background/MVR check will be conducted.
  • Ability to travel up to 90% of the time, with some weekends required.
  • Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Experience overcoming objections of prospective customers, a plus.
  • Ability to be flexible as this business develops and the needs change.
