Job Profile
Manheim Mobile Inspector (Individual Contributor) – Cox Automotive. Remote position with an assigned territory. Candidates must live in El Monte, CA.
CompensationHourly base pay range: $18.17–$27.21 per hour, with variations by location, experience, and knowledge. Additional compensation may include commission and/or incentive programs.
Pay ranges by level:
- Mobile Inspector – Level1 – 100% Geo: $15.10 – $22.69; 110% Geo: $16.63 – $24.90; 120% Geo: $18.17 – $27.21
- Mobile Inspector – Level2 – 100% Geo: $16.59 – $24.86; 110% Geo: $18.22 – $27.36; 120% Geo: $19.90 – $29.81
- Mobile Inspector – Senior Level – 100% Geo: $18.17–$27.31; 110% Geo: $20.00–$30.00; 120% Geo: $21.83–$32.79
The Mobile Inspector is a key member of the Manheim Mobile Inspections team, conducting on‑site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory. They provide accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of vehicle condition in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
Responsibilities- Vehicle Inspection & Documentation – Conduct thorough inspections, including verification of VIN, mileage, sub‑series, options, exterior, interior, mechanical checks, and damage documentation.
- Client Engagement & Territory Management – Build trust with dealers, educate on Manheim Marketplace, proactively engage to increase volume, adapt schedules, and maximize efficiency.
- Reporting, Tools & Collaboration – Submit daily activity reports, use , collaborate with Wholesale Specialists and other teams, and contribute to continuous
