Applicants must live or relocate to the state of Massachusetts or within commutable distance to our Cambridge, MA office. Enjoy the flexibility of working from home on Fridays, while collaborating in the office from Monday through Thursday.

The Role

As a member of our high‑energy, collaborative, and competitive sales team, you will develop customer acquisition and retention strategies while identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience. Your daily activities include making outbound sales calls to potential travelers who have expressed interest in group travel through our website and marketing efforts, and maintaining relationships with past loyal travelers booking their next Go Ahead Tour.

Our Sales Development Program is designed for those launching a new career in sales or wanting to build upon existing sales skills. The program offers training in sales, product, marketing, and industry trends, coaching in consultative selling techniques, presentations, public speaking, and dedicated mentorship.

Responsibilities
  • Independently manage your book of business while simultaneously bringing in new business
  • Maintain and practice high outreach and follow‑up phone conversations
  • Average 100+ calls and 3 hours of phone time per day
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to prospect and initiate product interest
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals
  • Develop an integrated sales strategy to accomplish your goals
  • Weekend work: 1‑2 days/month – take a weekday off when you work a weekend day
  • Late shift work: 1‑2 days/month – late shifts will be from 11:30 am to 8 pm MT
Qualifications
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and English; role is primarily in English but Spanish used as needed
  • Strong verbal communication and influencing skills, able to connect with diverse individuals via telephone
  • Innate sales instincts, able to recognize and capitalize on buying signals
  • Driven and competitive mindset, intrinsically motivated to hit goals
  • Demonstrates personal accountability, self‑awareness, and student mentality
  • Adept at problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to independently plan, organize, and prioritize work while collaborating with a team
  • Flexible, able to pivot quickly and multitask in a fast‑paced environment
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience or a 4‑year degree
  • Must live in the state of MA or within commutable distance to our Cambridge, MA office (remote Fridays)

  • Compensation: first‑year OTE $60,000 (base $50,000 + $10,000 bonus potential). Uncapped bonus for exceeding goals. OTE increases to $72,000 after 12 months. Promotion to Senior Tour Consultant after 2 years with increased OTE of $95,000 ($65,000 base + $30,000 bonus potential)
