Job Summary:
The Territory Manager will develop professional relationships with key referral sources in a specified geography and segment by utilizing value selling techniques. This role will be responsible for meeting both revenue and profitability goals for the assigned territory.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all sales and marketing activities within designated territory.
- Assist in business and organizational development.
- Consult with upper management to develop marketing strategies, achieve sales goals, compliance with expense budgets, and adheres to reporting timelines
- Monitor and report on sales activities and inventory, and prepare (monthly and quarterly) budget reports.
- Assess marketing potential of new and existing products, considering statistics and expenditures;
Monitor preferences to determine focus of sales efforts - Works with cross-functional team members such as the inside sales staff and Operations team members to ensure functional effectiveness of business
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred, High School Diploma or GED required. Three or more years of experience required.
- Demonstrates territory management skills with proven ability to build relationships and overcome objections.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general computer literacy.
- Able to multi-task and work successfully in a fast-paced environment, including readily adapting to frequent changes in procedure and priorities.
