The Sales Associate is a hunter‑role responsible for driving new business and growing Vlumber's customer base across the construction, pallet, and industrial lumber sectors. This role requires a seasoned B2B sales professional with deep lumber industry knowledge, an established book of business, and a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets. The Sales Associate manages the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, building long‑term, high‑volume client relationships.
Responsibilities- Prospect, identify, and close new B2B accounts in construction, pallet manufacturing, industrial, and distribution sectors
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, outreach, quoting, negotiation, and close
- Leverage existing industry relationships and book of business to generate immediate revenue
- Conduct market research using Zoom Info and prospecting tools to identify high‑potential accounts
- Execute a territory plan targeting pallet manufacturers, contractors, lumber distributors, and industrial manufacturers in FL, GA, SC, NC, TX, and LA
- Present Vlumber's product portfolio (SYP, SPF, custom cutting, fabrication, packaging) with industry expertise
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide weekly pipeline updates to the CEO
- Represent Vlumber at trade shows and client site visits as needed
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales in lumber, building materials, or related industrial distribution
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Established book of business with active clients in construction, pallet, or industrial sectors
- Verifiable track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Deep knowledge of SYP, SPF, grading standards, and market pricing
- Full‑cycle sales experience from cold outreach through contract close
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, Hub Spot, or equivalent)
- Self‑motivated and able to thrive in a lean organization without micromanagement
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel
- 100% commission‑based
- Tier 1 (First 90 Days): 5-6% on closed revenue
- Tier 2 (Post 90 Days): 4% standard commission
- Tier 3 (Accelerator): 5-6% on revenue exceeding quarterly target
- Performance‑based quarterly bonus
