Location: Germany

General Industrial Sales Manager (m/f/d) – Europe

Axalta is seeking a General Industrial Sales Manager for a remote position in Germany or Austria. The role involves strategy and execution of the sales plan across Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy and execution of sales plan
  • Manage and grow sales in Europe
  • Partner with Product and Technical teams to set priorities
  • Interface with functions to ensure product quality and availability
  • Execute contracts to ensure successful company growth and customer satisfaction
  • Create new opportunities through strategic projects and customer relationships
  • Build formal customer relationship plan and deepen customer intimacy
  • Drive customer intimacy to the account team
  • Promote introduction of new products and manage impact of customer‑initiated changes
  • Build, lead and develop sales team of approximately 10 members
  • Monitor resources and alignment to meet customer needs
  • Drive and document efficiencies in plant to demonstrate Axalta value to customer
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in science or business or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years of chemical or related industry experience, including sales and managerial experience
  • Ability to multi‑task and adjust priorities on a regular basis
  • Experience at strategic account planning
  • Demonstrated skills in customer relationship management
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within Europe
