Job Title
Strategic Account Manager
Location & Work ArrangementHybrid:
Must be in‑office 1–2 days per week in Indiana (IN). Remote work allowed otherwise.
- Drive growth and retention of existing accounts, including upsells to higher-level products/services.
- Achieve retention and growth targets via expert execution of the sales process.
- Build deep trust‑based relationships and gain comprehensive understanding of client needs and priorities.
- Act as consultative collaborative partner with brokers, consultants and decision‑makers.
- Develop strategic business plans to meet broker and/or client needs.
- Conduct broker/agency education on relevant topics.
- Serve as the primary customer contact and coordinate with internal partners to exceed client expectations.
- Identify and drive opportunities for additional product sales and growth.
- Maintain industry and product expertise at the local, state, and federal level, updating knowledge as the environment evolves.
- Provide consultative and strategic sales knowledge to large groups.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent education/experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of sales experience.
- Sales license required where applicable, or the ability to obtain one within 60 days.
- Proficiency with office tools, cloud‑based software, social media, and collaboration tools.
- Insurance industry experience.
- Client‑facing experience.
- Ability to travel in Indiana (optional); preference for up to 25% travel.
