As a member of our diverse and skilled North America Solution Consulting team, you will communicate and demonstrate the value of Workday’s applications to prospects and customers. The team brings Business Solutions to life and collaborates with Sales, Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management to showcase how the world of work can be transformed.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Financials Solution Consultant for our Nonprofit team. In this role you’ll present our next‑generation SaaS Financial Management Applications and AI Agents, lead discovery meetings, produce proof‑of‑concept builds, and support the sales cycle from qualification through closure.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver dynamic technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
  • Assist in closing sales opportunities by resolving questions about solutions, services, and training.
  • Contribute to prospect qualification and define demonstration criteria and sales‑cycle plans.
  • Support all sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives.
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs in partnership with sales.
  • Participate in discovery sessions to ask qualifying questions and map current business processes to future states.
  • Use ERP‑product knowledge to provide technical expertise during sales presentations.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Financials domain expertise.
  • Experience with cross‑functional Financials functions such as General Accounting, AP/AR, Grants Management, Financial Reporting, Project Management, Asset Management, or Procurement.
  • Strong ERP product knowledge.
Other Qualifications
  • Experience with endowments and grants.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the Nonprofit market and its challenges.
  • Consultative Selling expertise and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple projects independently, and collaborate cross‑functionally.
  • Dynamic presentation skills and ability to demo value to C‑level execs.
Pay & Benefits

Primary

Location:

USA – IL – Home Office Chicago Metro. Base Pay Range: $105,000 – $157,600 USD. Additional US locations offer an identical range. If performed in Colorado, the range remains the same. This role may also be eligible for a bonus plan or commission and stock grants. A detailed benefits summary will be provided during hiring.

Flexible Work

We combine in‑person time and remote work. Team members are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in the office or field each quarter, while maintaining flexibility in scheduling to suit business, team, and personal needs.
