Job Description
Yakult USA, the world's leading probiotic drink manufacturer, is hiring a Sales Field Representative who can cover the Cincinnati, OH area and surrounding regions. Field Sales / Account Manager experience with grocery chain stores is a must.
Location: Cincinnati, OH area (Primarily work from home, serving as a central point of contact for assigned areas)
Employment Type: Direct Hire with comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, etc.)
Salary: $25.50 - $27.50/hr
Perks: Mileage reimbursement
Schedule: Mon, Thurs & Fri: 7:00am - 4:00pm;
Sat & Sun: 8:00am - 5:00pm (Tues & Wed off)
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (weekends, potential overtime, and weekly schedule changes).
- Field Sales / Account Manager experience to grocery chain stores is a must.
- Food/beverage industry or consumer goods experience is preferred.
- Ability to drive between sites under various conditions.
- Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and valid Auto Insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs without restrictions.
- Computer literacy (Internet, Windows, MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
- Self-starter capable of working with little supervision.
- Team player with initiative.
- Willingness to travel.
- Develop relationships with retailers and educate store personnel and consumers.
- Visit grocery stores to meet with managers and product demonstration personnel.
- Travel to other areas or states for support as needed.
- Utilize sales tools to negotiate additional exposure and build brand awareness.
- Complete daily administrative tasks.
- Conduct field surveys and submit data within deadlines.
- Train and educate product demonstration personnel.
- Maintain a regular, frequent schedule of visits to retailers.
- Rotate/restock shelves, remove expired products, and request optimal product placement.
- Utilize promotional materials and monitor retail integrity.
- Provide daily communication and photo records of store visits.
- Support the manager in planning and executing sales efforts, including demos.
- Execute in-store demonstrations and participate in sampling events as needed.
- Negotiate cooler placement and additional locations at the store level.
