What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Develop strategies to secure new sales and manage a sales territory with corresponding quotas
  • Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive conditions to capitalize on opportunities
  • Implement effective sales strategies and provide regular updates to sales management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal departments
  • Attend industry trade shows and professional meetings to stay updated on market developments
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Healthcare, Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 12-15 years of experience in a hunter sales role, specifically in selling software products
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience selling into Health Plans, with 7+ years preferred
  • Proven track record of closing Health Plan software system and service sales with substantial contract values
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Established network of Health Plan account contacts at the Executive level
  • Experience managing sales processes, pursuit teams, and closing strategies
  • Familiarity with sales CRMs such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to build and educate a high-performance sales team
