About the Role

Flute is seeking a Remote Inside Sales Representative to drive new merchant acquisition through high-volume outbound prospecting and consultative selling. This role is ideal for a high-energy, self-motivated “hunter” who thrives in a performance-driven environment and enjoys turning cold conversations into closed deals.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will own the full sales lifecycle—from identifying and engaging prospective merchants to navigating agreements and closing new business. You will represent Flute as a trusted advisor, helping business owners understand how our payment solutions can support their operational and financial goals.

This role requires persistence, strong closing instincts, and comfort working independently in a remote setting.

Core Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and engage new merchant opportunities through self-sourcing, market research, and targeted list building
  • Execute high-volume outbound outreach, including cold calling, to introduce Aurora’s payment solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through signed agreement
  • Apply effective discovery, objection-handling, and closing techniques to convert cold leads into active merchants
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual monthly sales quotas and performance goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activity, pipeline status, and sales outcomes in Hub Spot CRM
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline to support consistent sales performance
  • Cultivate referral opportunities and repeat business through professional, value-driven interactions
  • Represent Flute with credibility, confidence, and a consultative mindset
  • Ensure transparency and ethical selling practices by clearly communicating merchant agreement terms, rates, and fees
  • Adhere to all company policies, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of outbound, self-sourced sales experience
  • Proven success in high-volume cold calling and outbound prospecting
  • Demonstrated understanding of the sales funnel, qualification techniques, and closing strategies
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage pipeline and activity tracking
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and professional presence
  • Highly self-motivated with strong discipline and accountability in a remote work environment
  • Resilient, persistent, and results-driven mindset
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred (Desired) Qualifications
  • Prior experience in payment processing, Fin Tech, or SaaS sales
  • Experience selling consultatively to small or mid-sized business owners
  • Familiarity with Hub Spot CRM
  • Comfort working in a quota-driven, performance-based compensation environment
  • Experience navigating regulated or compliance-driven sales environments
