Job Details
Our client, a leading player in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth and expand market presence within the designated region. The position is 100% remote, permanent, and focuses on the Texas region. Candidates should have a proven track record in food sales within the protein sector and a deep understanding of ethnic markets and regional accounts.
Responsibilities
Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned region.Identifying and targeting key accounts within the food and protein industry, especially within ethnic markets.Building and maintaining strong, long‑lasting customer relationships, understanding their unique needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.Negotiating and closing agreements with large customers while managing and overseeing the sales process.Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics and implementing improvements where necessary.Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and providing them to senior management.Staying up-to-date with new product launches and ensuring sales team members are on board.Working closely with the marketing department to ensure the brand is being accurately represented and promoted in your region.Addressing potential problems and suggesting prompt solutions.Participating in decisions for expansion or acquisition.Qualifications
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in food sales, specifically within the protein sector.A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Experience in managing a high‑performing sales team.A deep understanding of ethnic markets and regional accounts.Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with large accounts.Exceptional customer service skills and a solution‑oriented mindset.A degree in Business Administration or a related field.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel as needed.Benefits
