Full Line Sales Manager, West Texas/New Mexico Job
Armstrong World Industries has a job opportunity for a Full Line Sales Manager to cover the West Texas and New Mexico markets. As our Full Line Sales Manager, you will interact with architects, distributors, contractors, owners, and facility managers to influence the specification and purchase of Armstrong commercial ceiling and wall systems while meeting or exceeding the sales budget regarding price, volume, and mix.
Additionally, you will interact and partner with other Armstrong sales representatives to drive improved business results.

Responsibilities:
- Achieve the territory's goals in sales volume, mix, new products, and pricing.
- Influence purchasing and selling decisions with a positive impact.
- Assist architects/designers in writing specifications for Armstrong commercial ceilings, grids, and wall systems, emphasizing competitive advantage.
- Develop productive relationships with key distributors, contractors, and Armstrong personnel.
- Track projects in to establish plans for selling Armstrong products.
- Work with customers to comply with Armstrong specifications.
- Grow the business by increasing and maintaining market share through customer value and competitive advantages.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a business profession preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- 3+ years of sales experience.
- Working knowledge of construction, contracting, distribution, specification sales, commercial building products, and market segments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities.
- Strong planning skills—short‑term and long‑term, tactical and strategic—to achieve goals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- Successful experience in architectural selling.
Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and travel to customer locations, manufacturing facilities, and job sites. Ability to navigate active plant environments or construction/job sites, lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds, operate company car, use hands and arms for computer work and presentations. Must communicate effectively in person, by phone, and virtually, and inspect site conditions.
Work Environment: Combination of home office, corporate office, customer offices, manufacturing plants, construction sites. Exposure to noise, dust, temperature variations. Personal protective equipment may be required. Regular travel, including daytime and occasional overnight travel. Driver's license required.
