Apparel Sales Representative - Cleveland, Ohio

Job Overview

Full‑time outside sales, hybrid position. Sales activity takes place across a home office, local schools, community events, and in‑person meetings with clients.

• Territory: Cleveland, Ohio and surrounding regions (Lorain, Medina, Summit Counties)
• Work hours: Hours vary based on customer needs; evening and weekend work may be required.
• Pay rate: Base draw $40,000 – $45,000 plus potential performance‑based incentives. Base draw may vary based on education, experience, location, and market alignment.
• Travel: Primarily local to schools and organizations within the territory; occasional out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be required.

• Plan and prospect for territory sales
• Conduct consults and fittings with coaches and their athletes
• Meet and exceed assigned territory sales goals
• Provide honest and confident feedback about style and fit
• Seek fashion and product knowledge to build expertise
• Maintain personal drive to pursue professional growth
• Build rapport and lasting relationships with customers
• Travel to appointments within the territory
• Excel in a work‑from‑home environment
• Recruit for summer camp brands

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to learn new technology and use Microsoft Suite
• Knowledge of the cheer and dance industry
• Willingness to learn in‑depth product construction, technicalities and pricing
• Maintain a distraction‑free in‑home office
• Reliable travel for regular face‑to‑face touchpoints
• Strong organization and follow‑through
• Personal effectiveness and credibility
• Ability to generate leads, forecast sales cycle, anticipate problems, and create effective solutions with the goal of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Commitment to continuous learning and career advancement

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, education or related field preferred
• Industry experience preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in an administrative support role
