About the RoleBusiness Development Representative (Sales Development Representative) – the main growth driver for prospective outbound client engagement on Yipit Data must‑have products within the investment field.
Roles & Responsibilities- Develop creative outbound sales skills leveraging a variety of communication methods including cold calling, cold emailing, direct mail, Bloomberg messaging, and others.
- Own the inbound sales process, iterate on the prospect experience, qualify opportunities, and deliver the Yipit Data value proposition to ensure sales success.
- Work with Hedge Funds and Investment Managers who rely on the next generation of alternative data research to help with their investments.
- Collaborate with Marketing to optimize the opportunity conversion process.
- Map out organizational structures of leading Hedge Funds and Investment Managers to identify prospective users.
- Develop skills across a broad range of sales technology tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Groove, Linked In Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, Asana, and others.
- 1+ year in a high‑velocity sales environment either as a top‑performing SDR/BDR.
- Empathetic with strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Highly self‑motivated and proactive with your time.
- Grit and ability to handle rejection.
- Resourceful, always looking for new ways to open doors.

- The annual salary for this position is up to $65,000 + $20,000 discretionary bonus (OTEnt approx. $85,000); final offer influenced by experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal benchmarks.
This is a remote‑friendly opportunity that can be based in NYC, one of our office hubs, or anywhere else in the US. Income may be subject to New York State tax withholding when the remote work is performed in that state.
