In the sales role of ‘Therapeutic Advisor Cardiometabolic Health,’ you will manage and expand our customer base within your region. Key target groups include internists, diabetes nurses, hospital pharmacists, and general practitioners. You play a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals regarding our medicines. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in your region (Sales, Marketing, Medical Science Liaison, Nursing Consultant) to achieve our goals.
Responsibilities:
You are the diabetesspecialist in the Southwest Netherlands region (North Brabant/Zeeland), focusing on hospitals and GPs;
You are responsible for the territory and account strategy, operational planning, customer interactions, and projects;
You organize meetings, follow up on activities, and build long-term relationships with clients;
You add value by discussing which patients benefit most from our medicines, providing scientific information, and collaborating with accounts and healthcare providers to improve patient care;
You maintain expertise in your therapeutic area and keep your knowledge up to date;
You participate in regional scientific activities and attend national congresses;
You develop and implement territory plans with a cross-functional team, making informed decisions on investments to meet results;
You effectively access your customers using an omnichannel approach (face-to-face, digital solutions, scientific articles, etc.);
You work independently with healthcare professionals and cross-functional teams to manage projects from start to finish;
You collaborate closely with internal teams, such as the Brand Team;
You represent Lilly confidently, take ownership, and demonstrate curiosity and creativity in solving access issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree
Experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical company
Experience and network in Cardiometabolic Health is a plus, both in hospitals and GPs
Strong involvement in the field of Cardiometabolic Health
Resident of the Netherlands, living in Southwest Netherlands
Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
Valid driver’s license B
Patient-oriented, capable of building relationships and communicating effectively
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
Interest in translating science into meaningful clinical applications
Entrepreneurial optimism
