Responsibilities
- Develop a pipeline of SMB clients with growth potential, introducing upsell products and features, demonstrating products, and ultimately closing new business to secure incremental revenue.
- Lead inside sales, influencing retention and renewal of our customer base.
- Make outbound phone contacts, conduct web demonstrations, present and negotiate pricing, partner with Finance for contract re‑writes and price negotiations, execute contracts via Docu Sign, manage email campaigns with Marketing, and utilize digital inside‑sales tools across multiple platforms.
- Drive revenue through closing orders for additional vehicles and/or asset tracking solutions, as well as emerging software solutions and services within Verizon Connect.
- Partner with customer support, implementation, and deployment teams to ensure customers are fully supported.
- Communicate daily with the team on sales activity metrics, performance, and peer activity.
- Manage a diverse book of account business across various industries.
- Prioritize activities and manage pipeline to achieve revenue goals with a focus on productivity, personal time management, and accurate forecasting.
- Follow up on proposals and negotiate contracts in collaboration with the Associate Director.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners from sale through implementation.
- Maintain an accurate pipeline of viable opportunities currently being worked to secure contracts.
In this hybrid role, you will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Three or more years of relevant work experience in a SaaS environment or B2B sales.
- Previous experience selling into SMB accounts.
- Consultative selling experience.
- 3+ years of B2B inside sales experience.
- 1+ year of product sales account management experience.
- Account management experience.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job‑related skills and experience. This is a commission‑based position with the potential to earn more. For part‑time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
