* This is a newly created role in a new market for a store that is not yet operational. As such, responsibilities and expectations may evolve as the store operations are established. Flexibility, adaptability, and a pioneering mindset are essential for success in this position.*

Alpine Home Medical, a family-oriented, award‑winning provider of Durable Medical Equipment, is seeking a motivated, strategic, and customer‑focused professional to serve as both Store Manager and Respiratory Sales Lead. This hybrid leadership role blends operational excellence with dynamic sales outreach, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven healthcare environment.

Position Overview

This dual‑role position primarily focuses on driving territory‑based respiratory equipment sales, with additional responsibilities for overseeing the daily operations of an Alpine Home Medical retail location once established. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating orders through referral relationships and achieving sustained referral‑based growth. Upon the store's launch, the role will expand to include accountability for store profitability, staff development, inventory control, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Store Management
  • Lead all aspects of store operations with strategic oversight, including revenue generation, collections, inventory, and customer service.
  • Coach staff with empathetic leadership to meet performance goals and deliver exceptional service.
  • Monitor financial performance using analytical insight and implement cost‑effective strategies.
  • Maintain accurate customer files with meticulous attention to detail and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate timely deliveries and patient care with collaborative efficiency across clinical and delivery teams.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to foster a transparent, engaged, and goal‑oriented team culture.
  • Maintain a well‑organized retail space that reflects Alpine's high standards of professionalism.
  • Be available for on‑call duties and occasional home/office visits with flexible responsiveness.
Respiratory Sales Leadership
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, data‑driven sales plan targeting referral sources such as sleep labs, physicians, and therapists.
  • Use CRM tools and market intelligence to generate and close leads with proactive precision.
  • Educate patients and referral sources with clear, compassionate, and technically sound product knowledge.
  • Attend health fairs, seminars, and educational events to promote Alpine's offerings with enthusiastic representation.
  • Maintain documentation for expenses, reimbursements, and sales activities with organized accuracy.
  • Collaborate with store and regional leadership to align marketing and advertising efforts with creative synergy.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of management experience with a proven track record of achieving revenue goals.
  • Strong background in sales, preferably in healthcare, DME, or HME industries.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to coach and motivate teams while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high‑performing environment.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third‑party insurance billing with regulatory fluency.
  • Strong organizational and decision‑making abilities with strategic foresight.
  • Computer literacy and CRM experience with tech‑savvy adaptability.
  • High school diploma/GED required, associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
