Position Overview

AAA Club Alliance is hiring an experienced full‑time Retail Sales Associate. The role involves assisting members with memberships, credit cards, insurance referrals, and travel planning while delivering excellent customer service.

Compensation

Starting base pay: $18.82 to $24.07 per hour. Pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job‑related factors. Eligible for incentive pay with an average payout of $162.00 to $389.00 per month.

Store Hours and Schedule

Monday‑Friday: 9AM–5:30PM, Saturday: 9AM–1PM. 37.5‑hour work week, no Sundays. Full‑time associates accrue up to three weeks of paid time off during the first year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently up‑sell and cross‑sell AAA products such as memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
  • Assist members in planning domestic travel vacations, including car rentals, hotels, vacation packages, maps, tour books, and triptkis.
  • Answer overflow calls for Roadside Assistance during peak volumes, ensuring timely service delivery.
  • Provide backup support for Cashiering, Tag and Title, and IDEMIA services as needed.
Qualifications
  • Previous sales and customer service experience with a track record of driving results.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in navigating multiple websites and computer programs; multitasking in a fast‑paced retail setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Background screening required (criminal, drug, state/vendor specific).
  • Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • Basic geography knowledge desirable.
