Join our award-winning company and culture as an Inside Sales Specialist for our Fasteners Plus brand and play a key role in driving growth through customer‑focused selling, business acumen, and strategic problem solving.
Responsibilities- Primary owner of inbound customer calls, collaborating daily with Customer Service and Business Development teams to holistically meet customer needs.
- Develop highly impactful relationships and pursue opportunities to grow business and create long‑term value.
- Deliver consultative, solution‑oriented support that balances customer needs with business growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes, processes, and overall sales effectiveness.
- Build strong customer relationships through responsive, consultative communication across phone, email, and digital channels.
- Identify customer needs, qualify opportunities, and recommend solutions that align with customer goals and business objectives.
- Manage quotes, orders, follow‑up, and issue resolution with accuracy, urgency, and strong attention to detail.
- Partner cross‑functionally to support seamless customer experiences while identifying opportunities to improve sales processes and customer outcomes.
- Complete daily responsibilities with accountability, integrity, and strong business awareness.
- Earn full ownership of customer opportunities from initial contact through follow‑through and resolution.
- Product, Market & Application Acumen
- Understand products, customer applications, and market needs to confidently recommend the right solutions.
- Build product and industry expertise that strengthens customer trust and sales effectiveness.
- Diagnostic Questioning & Opportunity Clarification
- Ask thoughtful questions to uncover customer needs, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Clarify problems before recommending solutions and identify opportunities beyond the initial request.

- Build trust through responsive, professional, and consultative communication.
- Influence customer decisions by understanding priorities, providing value, and positioning solutions effectively.

- Take ownership of customer opportunities from initial contact through follow‑through and resolution.

This role is Hybrid with weekly onsite requirements in Urbana, IA. Remote work requires a minimum of 20 Mbps internet speed and residence in Iowa, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Pennsylvania.
