The Nexplore Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating new partnership opportunities by connecting with schools, districts, and educational organizations nationwide. Through outbound outreach, lead qualification, and relationship‑building efforts, the BDR plays a critical role in expanding access to Nexplore's innovative enrichment programs and supporting the growth of our mission‑driven organization.
This position reports to Sales Leadership and works closely with Regional Relationship Managers and other members of the sales team.
Responsibilities- Prospecting – Conduct outbound outreach through phone calls, emails, and approved communication channels to connect with school administrators, district leaders, after‑school program coordinators, and other educational decision‑makers.
- Pipeline Development – Research schools, districts, and educational organizations to identify prospective partners. Build, organize, and maintain prospect lists while gathering and verifying key contact information.
- Qualification – Engage prospective partners to understand their needs, assess fit, and identify opportunities for collaboration. Schedule introductory meetings and discovery calls for the sales team.
- CRM Management – Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, prospect interactions, follow‑up actions, and sales pipeline data within the company CRM platform.
- Collaboration – Partner closely with Regional Relationship Managers and sales leadership, participate in team meetings and training sessions, and share insights gathered from conversations with prospective partners.

Qualifications- Contract position
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting email outreach
- Basic computer proficiency, including email, spreadsheets, and CRM systems
- Experience in sales, business development, lead generation, appointment setting, or customer service preferred
- Experience working with schools, educational organizations, or nonprofits is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Hub Spot, Salesforce, or similar systems preferred
- Passion for education and student enrichment
- Reliable internet connection and remote work setup
