This full-time Outside Sales Representative role is a hybrid position based in Nashville, TN, with a mix of in-person client visits and some work from home. The representative will prospect and qualify new business opportunities, schedule and conduct in-person sales presentations, and tailor payment solutions to meet each client’s needs. Daily activities include managing a sales pipeline, following up on leads, preparing proposals, and closing new merchant service accounts.
The role also involves building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing customer service, and coordinating with internal support teams to ensure smooth implementation and account management. The representative will track activity and results in the company’s CRM, stay current on product updates and industry trends, and participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions.
- Strong Sales Presentations skills, including the ability to explain complex payment solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated Relationship Building and Customer Service abilities to develop trust, retain clients, and handle inquiries professionally.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with diverse business owners and internal teams.
- Proven New Business Development experience, including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals in a field sales environment.
- Prior experience in payments, merchant services, financial services, or B2B sales preferred.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to manage time effectively between field appointments and remote work.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation for local travel, and ability to visit client locations in the Nashville, TN area.
