This role is part of our ongoing efforts to optimize the PL Sales & Distribution team growth strategy. The selected hire must currently reside within the assigned territory or relocate to it.

- Accountable, directly or indirectly, for achieving aggregated business results within the assigned span of control.
- Use data and analytics to understand national market and industry trends, including competitor products, rates, distribution channels, regulatory and demographic environments, and identify business opportunities.
- Create performance expectations for territory managers related to agency management, appointments, transfers, contract types, portfolio management, and profitability.
- Motivate and coach territory managers to drive performance and achieve results through effective sales mentoring, incentives, and metrics.
- Partner with Product, Marketing and other business partners to identify and act on opportunities within the scope of control.
- Engage with internal partners across the P&C organization to share opportunities and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Drive utilization of tools and resources (e.g., Salesforce, Seismic, Dashboards, Reports) to increase operational efficiency.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
Reports to Personal Lines Sales Associate Vice President; direct reports typically include up to ten Territory Managers.
Qualifications- Undergraduate studies in general business, insurance, sales, marketing or related fields; graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of ten years of sales or sales management experience; prior property‑casualty or financial services experience desirable.
- Strong leadership experience and proven ability to build high‑performing teams.
- Experience in territory management, agency management, and portfolio profitability.
- Advanced communication and presentation skills.
- Data‑driven mindset with ability to translate analytics into actionable strategy.
- Knowledge of contract structures, agency compensation, incentives, and related metrics.
Overtime eligibility:
Exempt (not eligible).
Working conditions:
Normal office environment with frequent travel within the assigned territory. Must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.
