We are seeking a motivated and technically adept Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic marketing team. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and driving growth. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON- Lead Generation
:
Identify and research potential clients through various channels (e.g., Linked In, industry events, networking). - Outreach
:
Conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, social media) to engage with prospective customers and set up meetings for the sales team. - Qualification
:
Understand the needs of potential clients, and qualify leads based on specific criteria, ensuring a good fit for our platform. - Collaboration
:
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to execute campaigns, share insights, and improve processes. - Event Participation
:
Attend industry events and conferences to represent Tonkean, network with prospects, and generate leads. - Reporting
:
Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions in Salesforce and Outreach and provide regular reports on outreach performance. - Learning & Development
:
Stay updated on Tonkean’s platform, industry trends, and competitors to effectively communicate the value of our solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in technology and SaaS solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, startup environment.
- Willingness to travel for events and meetings (up to 30%).
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and a problem solver.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.
- Prior sales or customer‑facing experience is a bonus but not required.
