External Sales Representative
Location: Pretoria (Remote)
Territory: Limpopo, Gauteng & Mpumalanga
Salary: R18 000 – R25 000 basic + commission

Our client, a leading supplier in the automotive aftermarket industry, is seeking a driven and results-oriented External Sales Representative.
This is a remote-based role; however, the successful candidate should be based in Pretoria to effectively service the allocated region. Occasional reporting to the City Deep office will be required.
Role PurposeTo drive profitable revenue growth by managing and expanding an allocated customer base through disciplined sales execution, consistent customer engagement, and correct product application in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and recommend products based on customer and market needs
- Generate and follow up on leads (including new COD accounts)
- Prepare quotes, sales orders, and invoices, ensuring follow-through
- Actively grow and maintain customer relationships within the region
- Conduct regular client visits in line with a structured call cycle (80/20 principle)
- Provide product training to customers or coordinate training where required
- Monitor market trends and identify new sales opportunities
- Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with company processes
- Matric (Non-negotiable)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in automotive aftermarket or parts sales
- Experience in wholesale/retail replacement parts sales (advantageous)
- Knowledge or experience in automotive mobile air-conditioning systems (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively
- Strong automotive parts and industry knowledge
- Technical aptitude, particularly in motor vehicle air-conditioning systems
- Business and commercial acumen
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good numerical ability and analytical thinking
- Time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
