Production Specialist

About the RoleResponsible for supporting and developing sales while increasing market share of the Canon High Volume Production Systems within their assigned territory.
Responsibilities- Support sales region/team throughout key steps of the sales process including customer needs analysis, demonstrations, samples, site surveys and customer meetings.
- Develop high value sales proposals, presentations and financial analysis for customers to support new business activities.
- Provide tracking of sales prospects through the sales funnel process and provide accurate forecasting through
- Utilize Workplace Technologies & Services and Canon USA resources as necessary to support customer sales.
- Sales results will be closely monitored and achievement of quota will be the fundamental basis for measuring success.
- Product responsibilities include image PRESS 9/10100VP and C7/8/910 image PRESS series production color equipment, Oce Vario Print DP, Vario Print 6000 and image RUNNER 8705 series production black & white equipment, workflow and finishing solutions for both color and black & white production systems.
- Assist Production Print Solutions team in identifying & selling Vario Print iX3200 series production color inkjet opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
- 3-5 years industry experience in production print industry.
- Strong sales, technical aptitude, communication and demonstration skills including the desire to build solid working relationships with a variety of businesses and sales representatives.
- Interest in learning new high volume technology in an evolving industry.
- Must be a team player and have the ability to effectively communicate.
Anticipated base salary range: $54,460-$81,550 annually. Eligible for incentive compensation under the terms of an applicable plan and/or policy; at 100% of plan, anticipated incentive compensation is $94,000 annually. Also eligible for a transportation allowance.
WorkstyleFull‑time with hybrid schedule requiring reporting to local office as directed; available for customers in‑person or remotely; option to work from home on other business days except where business needs dictate otherwise.
