Priority1 is a premier consulting and contract logistics company, specializing in LTL, Truckload, Air Freight, and Warehouse services. We are growing and adding new outside Territory Managers to the Knoxville market.

The Territory Manager sales position offers opportunity to establish superior selling skills, provide a large business solution in a small-to-mid-size business environment, and grow into a Senior Territory Manager/Regional Sales Manager by gaining experience selling to executive-level decision makers (e.g., Owner, CEO, CFO, President, Vice President). This outside sales role is focused on new business acquisition. The freight shipping industry has an unlimited prospect base.

Snapshot of Territory Manager Position

  • Prospecting New Business (There is a lot of B2B door-to-door cold calling involved)
  • Develop Lead Generation and utilize CRM to track activity
  • Selling and setting up new accounts
  • Managing accounts you sell

Training and Development Priority1 believes in supporting Territory Managers through best-in-class training and development. New hires can expect three weeks of corporate training within the first 24 months, with potential for additional Senior TM trainings and management trainings later in the career. All trainings take place in Little Rock, AR and are led by the Executive Development Team, who started in sales.

New Territory Managers also participate in the “Fast Start Program” immediately after Basic Sales Training in Little Rock. The Fast Start Program includes three months of in-field training with Upper Management.

Requirements of a Priority1 Territory Manager

  • 2 years of freight sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (business, marketing, or communications; any major with a passion for sales acceptable)
  • Campus involvement and athletic backgrounds highly recommended
  • Enthusiastic and energetic demeanor
  • Polished and professional appearance
  • Determined to be part of a winning team
  • Strong desire to be successful

  • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission + $500 monthly car allowance + reimbursement for gas receipts
